The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (51ԹϺ) and Las Vegas Sands are pleased to announce the creation of the Sands Institute for Chinese Language and Culture at 51ԹϺ, which was formally approved by the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents at its quarterly meeting on Dec. 5, 2024. 51ԹϺ will expand its Chinese language and culture programs with a $15 million donation from Las Vegas Sands. The Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents approved the creation of the Sands Institute for Chinese Language and Culture.
