Deadline Nov. 22: Nominate an Outstanding Graduating Student for Recognition at Winter Commencement

The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Commencement Committee is accepting nominations through 5 p.m. Nov. 22 for outstanding graduating students to be recognized during undergraduate and graduate commencement ceremonies scheduled for Dec. 17 and 18 at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Please help us continue this long-standing campus tradition by nominating a graduating student who represents the academic, research, and community impact of the Winter 2024 graduating class.

Criteria:

  • Both undergraduate and graduate students can be nominated, but they must be eligible to participate in the Winter 2024 Commencement.
  • Students can be nominated for outstanding academic or personal successes, including significant research work, academic performance, and/or community service.
  • Students also can be nominated for achieving their academic goals while overcoming an obstacle in life.

Please send a detailed submission to the Commencement Committee by 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, through the nomination form on the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Commencement website.

We ask that you please be as thorough in your description as possible as the details included in your nomination will be very important in determining the next group of outstanding 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ graduates.

Thanks in advance for your participation. If you have questions, please contact Keyonna Summers in the Office of Media Relations at keyonna.summers@unlv.ed
