For October 2024, the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ offices of educational compliance and accessibility resources recognize Lisa Escher, grants and projects analyst 2, Office of Research & Scholarship, School of Nursing/School of Integrated Health Sciences, as our Rebel Accessibility Hero.

As a grants and projects analyst, Lisa Escher is uniquely positioned to provide support for moving procurements through the accessibility space. Her first accessibility procurement project with the Office of Accessibility Resources was in August 2020 in a previous role, so her proficiency in shepherding these processes developed rapidly, a testament to her flexibility. Over the years, she has facilitated multiple ICT (information and communications technology) procurements between OAR, her units and projects and Purchasing and Contracts.

Please join us as we recognize Lisa Escher as our Rebel Accessibility Hero for October 2024.
