Rebel Advocacy Training - 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ & NV's 83rd Legislative Session

The 83rd Session of the Nevada Legislature will convene on Monday, Feb. 3. The Office of Government and Community Engagement is looking forward to partnering with many of you in an effort to advocate for legislation important to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, and to ensure our resources and participation are leveraged for the benefit of all Nevadans during this year's session.

In preparation for this year's session, Government and Community Engagement is, once again, offering Rebel Advocacy Training to assist the campus community with their efforts to engage in the legislative session. Current trainings are scheduled for:

  • Wednesday, January 22, 2025
    • 4 - 5:30pm
    • University Gateway Building, Second Floor, Rooms 268 & 269
  • Wednesday, February 5, 2025
    • 2 – 4pm
    • 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Student Union, Second Floor, Room 207
  • Wednesday, February 12, 2025
    • 9:30 – 11am
    • University Gateway Building, Second Floor, Rooms 268 & 269
  • Thursday, February 20, 2025
    • 5:30 – 7pm
    • University Gateway Building, Second Floor, Room 268

Additionally, please remember the Government and Community Engagement website contains a variety of information and resources to assist you during this year's Session. And, the office will publish its weekly Legislative Session e-News once the Session begins to help keep our campus informed.
