With the recent announcement of Marta Meana’s upcoming retirement from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, the entire campus community is invited to a reception to celebrate her incredible accomplishments and to thank her for her dedicated service. The reception will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Tam Alumni Center.
Meana has been a transformative presence at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ since she joined the Department of Psychology in 1997. Over her 27+ years at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, she has mentored dozens of graduate students, served as the dean of the Honors College and as interim president of the university, made significant research advancements in the field of women’s sexual health, and been a positive and supportive force in the lives of so many.
