All of our graduate programs are completely online. Specifically, all didactic instruction is delivered online asynchronous. If there are clinical elements to the program those will be done in your home community with a preceptor. However, students enrolled in graduate programs will have to visit campus for orientation and project defense. Depending on the program, additional trips may be required. Please note: for students interested in the Direct Entry-MSN program, all clinical requirements are local and in-person in the Las Vegas metro area.

To apply to a graduate nursing program, applicants can create an account and submit an application in Grad Rebel Gateway. For a list of deadlines to apply to a School of Nursing graduate program, please visit the Graduate College’s Application Deadlines page for a complete list of application open and close dates.

In a partnership with our generous donors, the School of Nursing can award scholarships to qualifying undergraduate, graduate, and professional students pursuing a degree in nursing at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. Scholarships can be awarded based on GPA, financial need, in-state residency, and/or class rank - qualifications that are established by the private donor, the School of Nursing, and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. Additional scholarship opportunities can be found by visiting 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ’s main Financial Aid & Scholarships website.

Note: the scholarships awarded may vary year-to-year based upon continued funding. All students must reapply annually for scholarship eligibility as scholarships do not automatically renew.

"I found the nurses that were trained [at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ] really did well. I was always impressed by a nurse that came from there. Not only was it a convenient place in terms of access, but I knew the quality of the outcomes were definitely going to be something that I could benefit from."
