The Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) provides students with a multitude of opportunities for professional development and career training in research. OUR’s Research Skills Academy (RSA) consists of a series of research-related workshops that serve to inform and empower students with research training and skills to become research ready.
All RSA workshops are held virtually through Zoom unless noted otherwise. Please click on each workshop link below to learn more about its contents as well as to RSVP!
In addition to RSA webinars, OUR offers research-oriented instructional support for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ faculty through classroom presentations. Faculty may request these in-demand trainings below.

- OUR RSA workshops are held virtually. To attend an RSA workshop, please access the particular workshop and RSVP to the event. Upon completing your name and NSHE ID, you will receive a Webex invitation link.
- Unless otherwise stated, RSA attendees are required to provide a NSHE ID and affiliated rebelmail address.
- OUR repeats most of its RSA workshop programs each semester, including summer.
- Although we recommend students to attend OUR workshops using their desktops, laptops, or tablets, students may also dial in. If students elect this access type, then it is up to the student to email OUR a confirmation of their attendance along with the last two digits of the phone number used in dialing.
- OUR regularly partners with 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ faculty who are interested in having a specific workshop presented to their students. To initiate this process, faculty are encouraged to complete the form.
