Amelia Evans, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Amelia Evans is a psychological assistant and uses she/her pronouns. She earned her B.S. in Psychology in 2016 and her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2018 from Gonzaga University. Dr. Evans also earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology in 2020 and her PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2024 from Texas Tech University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of Denver Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Her clinical approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy and blends interpersonal, emotion-focused, and acceptance and commitment therapy orientations that guide clients to engage in behaviors that reduce presenting symptoms, create consistent, lasting change, and improve overall well being. Outside of work, Dr. Evans can be found spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, spending time outdoors, and eating ice cream.
