51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ

Breanna Boppre, Ph.D. was the first to graduate from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Criminology and Criminal Justice doctoral program in 2018. She was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. She is now an assistant professor of criminal justice at Wichita State University in Kansas. Her research examines correctional policies, women and youth system-involvement, and the impacts of incarceration on families. Her work has been published in several top peer-reviewed journals and has been supported by both internal and external funding. As a first-generation college student herself, Boppre prioritizes inclusive teaching and mentorship.
