Assistant Professor
Biography
Brenna Renn is a clinical geropsychologist who specializes in behavioral interventions for older adults, particularly in the context of depression, chronic disease, health promotion, and in integrated primary care behavioral health. Her research aims to improve access to care by 1) improving reach of evidence-based psychological treatments, such as through integrated primary care and digital platforms; 2) improving the usability of behavioral interventions so they are acceptable for the traditionally underserved (i.e., low-income, rural-dwelling, older adults, and/or ethnic/racial minority populations); and 3) novel strategies for improving the capacity of the behavioral health workforce. She is also broadly interested in training the next generation of geropsychologists and other mental health care providers, particularly in interdisciplinary team and integrated care settings.
