Biography

Catharine Lory received her doctoral degree in educational studies from Purdue University, with a focus on special education. She is also a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA-D). Before joining 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, she worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Baylor University. Lory has extensive experience supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in school and community-based settings. Her research areas include (1) Exploring how autism and the environment interact to shape the behavioral characteristics of autistic individuals, (2) Designing and evaluating interventions to address the educational and behavioral needs of autistic students, and (3) Empowering educators and other professionals to implement evidence-based practices for individuals with autism through collaborative coaching methods.
