Biography

Ching-Chen Chen earned her doctoral degree in counselor education, with an emphasis in measurement and assessment, from University of Cincinnati. She also holds a M.S. in counseling psychology and a B.Ed. in instructional psychology and counseling education from National Dong Hwa University in Taiwan. Her research interests include cross-cultural measurement development, multicultural counseling, integrative approaches to substance abuse treatment and behavioral health. Her articles appeared in top quartile peer-reviewed journals. She also presented her work in top conferences, nationally and internationally. In addition, she has taught courses for assessment in counseling, advanced multicultural counseling, career counseling, and substance abuse counseling. Chen hopes to bring her cross-cultural perspectives and international counseling experiences to the research, teaching, and service at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
