Biography
Chuck Foley is the assistant professor of Music Technology at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and is the manager of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Recording Studio, which has produced award-winning recordings of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Jazz Ensemble and recorded distinguished artists such as Gladys Knight, Santa Fe, Howie Mandel, and Bill Champlin.
Foley plays guitar professionally and has performed with Legends In Concert, American Superstars, Enter the Night, Mamma Mia!, Human Nature, the Lon Bronson Band, Clint Holmes, Denise Clemente, and Junior Walker and the All-Stars.
He has been a recording engineer and session guitarist since the 70s and graduated Magna cum laude from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 1996 with a degree in Communications, and has a degree in Electronic Communications and Applications from RETS Electronic Schools, earning his First Degree Radiotelephone Operators License.
He and Professor Gil Kaupp have developed a Minor in Music Technology, and are in the process of creating a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Studies/Music Technology at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.
