David Almanza is a Graduate Research Assistant for the Public Communication Initiative. He is an instructor and doctoral candidate in Public Affairs. He earned his bachelor's and master's degree in communication studies from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. His research is centered around Voice within processes of policy-making. He works to examine the role of various communities within policy conversations by analyzing democratic processes through a rhetorical lens.
