Biography
David S. Tanenhaus is Professor of History and James E. Rogers Professor of History and Law at the William S. Boyd School. He is a legal historian whose scholarship focuses on enduring issues in juvenile law. This has included books about , , and a forthcoming history of American juvenile justice (with Máximo Langer, UCLA School of Law) for Oxford University Press that covers the period from 1870 to 2020. He has also served as editor of the journal Law and History Review (2004-2012) and general editor of the (2008).
