Biography

Kimberly Rogers, born and raised in Pennsylvania, now calls Las Vegas home. She graduated cum laude from University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography and was named Outstanding Dance Graduate at the College of Fine Arts Honors Ceremony. Additionally, Rogers received her Pilates Teaching Certification, under the tutelage of Dolly Kelepecz, shortly after graduation. She has been a part-time instructor in the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Dance Department since 2012.

Upon graduation, Rogers began working at Opportunity Village. During her time there, she implemented a brand new dance program for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. The dance program consists of tap, jazz, and ballet, as well as the integration of Pilates, yoga, strength training, and nutrition to lead a healthy, balanced life. Students of the program were able to perform for their peers and at major events like the Helldorado Parade and the Great Santa Run.

Rogers is particularly active in the Las Vegas performing arts community, working with companies such as Magical Madness Dance Theatre, Cockroach Theatre Company, and Table 8 Productions, as well as an avid burlesque performer. She is co-founder of Strawberry Moon Entertainment and co-producer of Tease & Tails, a monthly burlesque show in Downtown Las Vegas.
