Biography

Nathan Slife oversees the College of Education's First- and Second-Year Seminar Program. He holds a B.A. in social science studies from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ), an M.A. in college student personnel from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Ph.D. in higher education from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. With a background in student affairs, he has previously worked at the University of Maryland, College Park, La Salle University in Philadelphia, and Tulane University in New Orleans.

Slife is deeply committed to instructing 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students and providing ongoing support for the professional growth of graduate assistants, as well as part- and full-time faculty. Additionally, he teaches graduate courses within the Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Higher Education.
