Associate Vice President, Development & Principal Gifts
Biography
Patrice Hester-Harper joined the Division of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement in 2021 and currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Development & Principal Gifts. In this capacity, she leads the central development team which includes Corporate & Foundation Relations, Gift Planning, Regional Development, Annual Giving and fundraising in units across campus including Diversity Initiatives, Student Affairs, Honors College and Libraries.
She received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and prior to her current role, she served as Assistant Dean, Administration, Engagement and Outreach in the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ School of Nursing. Patrice has an extensive advancement background and previously serving in roles including Director of Alumni Engagement for the School of Nursing and Director of Development for the School of Nursing and the School of Integrated Health Sciences where she was responsible for increasing private giving in support of the schools from alumni, friends, foundations and corporations. Patrice has served on numerous 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus-wide committees including the Administrative Faculty Committee and earned her Doctorate in Public Policy at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 2023.
