Biography
Sharolyn Pollard-Durodola earned her Ed.D. from the University of Houston in Curriculum and Instruction (Second Language Acquisition and Bilingual Education) and comes to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ from University of Denver where she served as Associate Professor of Literacy in the Morgridge College of Education. She has research and experience in English language and literacy inventions and professional development practices for teachers of English language learners (ELL). Sharolyn has goals to further develop the ELL Program into a competitive, nationally attractive program as well as to continue the expansion of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and Clark County School District collaborations via relevant research related to improving language and literacy practices for ELLs.
