Biography

Steve Hendricks (51ԹϺ ’20, MA Educational Policy & Leadership) is in his nineteenth year as an educator and is a recently appointed administrator with the Clark County School District at Arbor View High School.  He holds degrees from BYU (’04, bachelor of arts in history teaching, minor Spanish teaching), the University of Phoenix  (master of arts in curriculum & instruction) along with his aforementioned degree from 51ԹϺ.

Previously, Steve taught Spanish from level 1 to AP along with US History. He also worked as a department coordinator in World Languages and was a Student Council advisor for ten years. His current assignment is in his school’s Student Resolution Office, where he deals with disruptive behaviors and at-risk youth. A father of two and husband to his wife Rochelle, Steve is an avid and lifelong fan of the Runnin’ Rebels and his passion carries over to the vision of the university by “improving the lives of our diverse students and transforming our communities through education and engagement.”
