Biography
Sydney Phan, MSMHS, DO, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Department of Family and Community Medicine. Phan also received both her master’s degree in medical health science and her medical degree from Touro University California. She then completed her family medicine residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine. Dr. Phan has particular interest in women’s health, preventative care, and working with learners.
During her residency, Phan was able to participate in numerous grants including the Maternity Care Advancement Project and the Autism Behavioral Health Enhancement Project. She also had the opportunity to present a case report at the Nevada Academy of Family Physicians conference where she received the poster presentation competition award. Along with this, Phan has published work with the Family Physicians Inquiries Network and received the distinction of gold humanism with the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
