Biography
Zhi Cheng, MD, is an assistant professor in the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Department of Internal Medicine. Having grown up in Texas, Dr. Cheng received his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Texas at Austin, which he followed up with a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) John Sealy School of Medicine. Afterwards, he came to Las Vegas, Nevada, to complete his internal medicine residency at Sunrise Health Graduate Medical Education (GME) Consortium.
Along with being certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Cheng is also certified in advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS). He has a particular interest in the global health field.
