Students who feel welcomed and affirmed on campus are many times more likely to stay enrolled and find their unique definition of success. That’s why our almost 1,000 Student Affairs staff members work daily to ensure our campus is dynamic and engaging for all of our students. All our efforts share the goal of providing 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students with the most successful collegiate experience possible.
The Division of Student Affairs is a dynamic environment characterized by shared leadership that fosters learning and human development. Working in partnership with the university and surrounding communities, Student Affairs is a service-oriented division that strives to establish a safe and secure learning environment that is diverse, dynamic, and student-centered.
To better advocate on behalf of our diverse community, it is imperative that members of Student Affairs increase their awareness of the many forms of intolerance. Each individual shares responsibility for challenging all forms of oppression. We institute policies and practices to provide a civil, welcoming environment for self-expression and safety.
All members of Student Affairs agree to respect, support, and accept differences in:
- Race
- Religion
- Gender
- Age
