Planned Actions for AY 2024-2025

• Structuring Offices of Government Affairs and Community Engagement to streamline efforts/leverage limited resources.
• Development of an action plan for the next legislative biennium and creation of a strategic plan for community engagement.
• Further develop a 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ policy on political dignitary visits.
• Fully establish GCE serving an academic liaison / source of instruction to the DPP program. Providing experiential learning through policy development. 
• At the President’s direction, to establish 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ as a convener to assist with policy and solution development for the homeless or unhoused. 
• Further refine Federal Appropriations efforts to further optimize efforts and resources. 
• Create/Establish 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Congressional Intern Program in Washington, DC. 
• Continued analysis of current actions and progress, as well as determining the path forward for university-wide community engagement, as well as engagement with government entities.
• Expand outreach and other initiatives in and for the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ neighborhood.
• Construct responses based on data for the CCCE application, conduct a final review, and submit in spring 2025.
