Student Services Complex
Whether you need assistance with financial aid and scholarships, want to talk to an admission counselor, need additional resources to succeed, or are interested in learning more about military and veteran services on campus, you’ll want to visit the Student Services Complex. This complex is our central hub for student support and special service centers.
Points of Interest
- Cashiering & Student Accounts
- The Cashiering & Student Accounts Office offers various student account services, such as tuition and billing, student refunds, receipt and payment processing, and support for past due accounts.
- Center for Academic Enrichment & Outreach
- The Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach helps economically disadvantaged students (middle school, high school, and college) prepare for and persevere through post-secondary educational programs by providing a broad array of academic support services.
- Financial Aid & Scholarships
- From scholarships and grants to work-study and loans, there are many ways to pay for college — and many questions too. The Financial Aid & Scholarships Office is here to help answer all of your questions and guide you through the financial aid process.
- International Student & Scholar Services
- International Student & Scholar Services assists international students and their families in making a smooth transition to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ. The office provides advice and information on various topics, including immigration issues, financial questions, and social and cultural differences.
- Jean Nidetch Care Center
- The Care Center offers guidance, resources, and referrals to students who may have experienced sexual assault, stalking, domestic or dating violence, or are concerned for a friend. Programs and services are available to people of all identities.
- Military & Veteran Services Center
- The Military & Veteran Services Center has veterans and GI Bill-experienced staff who understand the many challenges associated with students working toward their degree while serving on active duty, as well as those transitioning from the military to the civilian world. The Center has developed a veteran-friendly campus and currently serves over 1,800 military and veteran students.

- The Office of the Registrar helps students with registration and academic record needs.

Academic Success Center
Keep your friends close, and the Academic Success Center (ASC) even closer. The ASC welcomes, guides, and supports students throughout their academic careers. Whether you need help choosing a major or understanding what classes to register for, our staff helps ease your transition with a first-year seminar and individualized success coaching and workshops.

- Our Academic Success Coaches work with students to develop skills and learning strategies for success during college.
- Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction
- Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction provide content-learning support through peer-assisted study groups. Students can compare notes, discuss important concepts, develop study strategies, and quiz each other before big tests. Drop-in group-tutoring labs are also available across campus.

Need extra help during the semester? The Central Desert Complex is home to various academic departments, the Writing Center, and the Math Tutor Clinic. You’ll be sure to get the assistance you need with our array of resources!

- The Writing Center offers students free one-on-one or group consultations working on academic, professional, or personal writing projects at any stage of the writing process – from first ideas to polished drafts. Workshops are available on various writing issues, including structure, style, and grammar.
