Program Overview

The Chinese Studies Program in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ offers you many opportunities to study and immerse yourself in Chinese language and culture. The various courses offered will help you develop language skills and knowledge about China and Chinese-speaking communities, ultimately preparing you for a much broader range of potential career paths in an increasingly international work environment.

Minor in Chinese Studies

The Minor in Chinese Studies requires a minimum of 18 credits of course work, including CHI 213, 214, 301, 302, and six additional credits of upper-division (300-400 level) course work in Chinese.

CHI 113 & 114 (Beginning Chinese I & II) or equivalents
