You should complete the form as soon as possible since financial aid and scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available. Tips and Advice

The largest financial aid funding sources are derived from programs authorized under Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. Students considered DACA, immigrants, and international students are not eligible for federal financial aid programs. Finding additional funds outside of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ applicable to your situation will likely require effort and exploration on your part.

Consider reputable free scholarship searches online. Many non-51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ scholarship opportunities are available where U.S. Citizenship is not required.

Beware of scholarship scams. You should not have to pay money to obtain a scholarship. The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships cannot recommend any particular search engine since there is no way to monitor the plethora of online resources for validity.

51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has teamed up with , the nation's largest college access and success program for immigrant youth, to provide scholarships for Nevada's immigrant youth to achieve their higher education goals. The organization's eligibility criteria opens applications to DREAMers who have DACA, TPS (temporary protective services) or who came to the country before November 1, 2016, before the age of 16, and otherwise meet the DACA eligibility criteria.
