Dr. Robert Lockhart (Dental) received the American Academy of Periodontology’s 2018 Outstanding Teaching and Mentoring in Periodontics award, which recognizes an educator who demonstrates a commitment to excellence in providing education in the full scope of clinical periodontics, and relays that enthusiasm to students. The Academy, which is dedicated to advancing oral health and well-being through expertise in periodontics, implants, regeneration, periodontal medicine, periodontal plastic surgery, and oral reconstructive surgery, will formally recognize Dr. Lockhart during an award ceremony scheduled for late May.
