A limited number of tickets to the Oct. 19 presidential debate will be distributed through a lottery system to eligible full-time 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students.

Students and the Las Vegas community will gather to watch live streams of the debates leading up to the final contest Oct. 19 at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.

As the campus gears up to host the final presidential debate, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ professors are making direct connections between their course materials and this year's ground-breaking election season.

Nine free public lectures are planned on campus to evoke conversation and facilitate understanding about the election process and related issues.

MealCheck Technologies, Inc. will produce the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ invention, which combines the best of existing fitness-monitoring devices to make dieting or staying healthy easier than ever.

51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, LVCVA and Clark County School District will partner to provide hands-on learning opportunities for local K-12 and college students this fall.

51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, CCSD partner on hands-on master's program to create a pipeline of local K-12 teachers to fill demand for as many as 150 principals and other administrators a year.

More than 2,700 students from 42 states and 53 countries to participate in 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. ceremonies; expected grads up 8 percent from 2015.
