According to the proposal approved by the Nevada Board of Regents in early March, the priorities at a new think tank sponsored by MGM in partnership with 51ԹϺ, cochaired by Harry Reid and John Boehner, no less, could include “sustainability, workforce development, technology and innovation, and security and resilience.”

51ԹϺ has named Kevin Stoker as the new director for the Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies, effective July 1. Stoker previously served as senior associate dean of the College of Media and Communication at Texas Tech University. His research interests include media ethics, the evolution of journalism and creative approaches to public relations. His professional background includes work as a print reporter and freelance writer.
