The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Community Concert Band, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ New Horizons Band, and Trumpeters Alliance to Perform Patriotic Services (TAPPS) present a salute to the armed forces at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 8 in Artemus Ham Concert Hall.
TAPPS is a nonprofit organization, launched by 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ alumni, with the mission to provide live performances of "Taps" at veterans' funerals free of charge. The group will premier an arrangement of the Star Spangled Banner, as well as a four-trumpet solo arrangement of The Armed Forces Salute.
Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for seniors and military, and can be purchased through the Performing Arts Center Box Office or 702-895-ARTS (2787).
