Las Vegas is no stranger to worker walkouts. Pickets have appeared in front of our hotel casinos throughout recent gaming history. Workers at Virgin Las Vegas told News 3 they had hoped it wouldn't come to this, but the Culinary Union is not afraid to stand up for better pay and benefits.

A video of a passenger bagging the "best seat ever" on the final flight of the day has gone viral on TikTok. The clip was shared by @nabil.o33 and has had 3.3 million views since it was posted on April 15. A message overlaid on the video says: "POV [point of view]: When you're flying standby on the last flight of the day, the flight is completely full, but you were given the option to sit in the back of the plane with the cabin crew."

An endowment of $1.05 million will fund career development for women in sports, according to a Wednesday news release from the 51ԹϺ Athletics Department. The Diana Bennett Career Development Program for Women’s Sports will provide internship programming, resume building, career professional development and a variety of networking and job experience initiatives. The program is part of the “Rebel Up” Campaign, the Athletics Department said.
