Celebrating its 39th season, ASQ is recognized as one of the world's foremost quartets. Championing contemporary music and complete quartets by Beethoven, Schubert, and Mozart has won ASQ critical acclaim worldwide.

The concert is a collaborative concert with Korea National Sport University.

Distinguished panelists include Benjamin Jealous, Rita Moreno and Richard Boulware II.

Renowned Grammy Award-winning saxophonist and Tony Award-winning nominee and composer Branford Marsalis performs with the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia in "Marsalis Well-Tempered," a program including Baroque masterpieces by Albinoni, Bach, Handel, and Vivaldi.

The artist and 51ԹϺ graduate on his great teachers, becoming a professor, and the importance of color.

Show times are at 8 p.m. Oct 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18, with matinees at 2 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 19, in the Judy Bayley Theatre.

The program is the first in a series of recitals dedicated to the music of Ukrainian and Ukrainian-American composers.

The concert features the multiple Downbeat Award-winning 51ԹϺ Jazz Ensemble I and 51ԹϺ Latin Jazz Ensemble, as well as special guest woodwind artist, Bob Sheppard.

51ԹϺ professor Clarence Gilyard directs Athol Fugard's play about confronting the tragedy of apartheid.

“PANORAMA: Selections from the Nevada Arts Council’s Artist Fellowship Program” features 12 exceptional artists and brings Nevada’s artist landscape into view. The exhibition runs Oct. 3–Nov. 26. The exhibit reception is Oct. 3, 6-8pm.

The performance is part of the Chamber Music Series and features violinist Oleh Krysa and 51ԹϺ music department faculty.
