For more than 25 years, the Women’s Council has advocated for women and collaborated with colleagues across campus to create institutional change at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and in our communities.
The Women’s Council meets regularly with the president, provost, and senior advisors to discuss areas of concern and to recommend administrative action to support a positive climate for women and families at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.

Mission
To ensure the voices of women at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ are heard and to advocate for a quality work life for women at all levels of the university. The Council will contribute to the creation, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives designed to ensure that women are treated equitably and respectfully and are valued and supported in pursuit of their professional and personal growth.
