The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Writing Center is committed to assisting all 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students, staff, and faculty. If you are registered with the Disability Resource Center and feel that you can benefit from additional assistance in your consultations, we are happy to offer accommodations for you.
Typical accommodations include:
- Back-to-back consultation sessions
- Extra consultation and OWL sessions per week
- Ability to schedule with the same consultant for continuity
If you believe these or other adjustments would be useful for you, please ask your Disability Resource Specialist to send our office an accommodation letter. For more information about the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Disability Resource Center, please visit their webpage.
The Writing Center also offers Consultations for Neurodivergent and Disabled Writers. These sessions are structured the same as our other consultations but are held with a consultant who has undergone specialized training to better assist the needs of writers who identify as neurodivergent or disabled.
You do not need to be registered with the Disability Resource Center to select this type of consultation. View more information on Consultations for Neurodivergent and Disabled Writers.
