We're so excited to have you join us at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ.

Rebel Ready Week is a week-long collection of activities and events that help undergraduate students connect and engage with the campus community. You'll learn more about 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and our support services and resources.

And don't worry — The event is free, and there will be plenty of activities and sessions where you can have fun and meet fellow Rebels. Oh, and we’ve got swag!

Event Details

Rebel Ready Week is designed to help undergraduate students gain a sense of belonging and prepare them for a less stressful first year and a more successful college experience overall.

All incoming first-year undergraduate students are required to attend Rebel Ready Week. You’ll be assigned to a group and paired with a Rebel Ready Week leader. Together you'll participate in small and large group sessions, listen to keynote speakers, meet new people, and attend various workshops. Throughout the week, you'll also have the chance to attend breakout sessions on topics that interest you based on the Rebel Ready Week Pillars. Optional evening programming will let you continue to have fun and connect with other students!

Undergraduate Students

Graduate Students
In conjunction with Rebel Ready Week, newly admitted graduate students will participate in Gradate College Day on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, as part of their New Graduate Student Orientation. The day will be filled with graduate students-specific programming.

Parents & Families

We encourage parents and families to join us on Monday, August 19, 2024, for Rebel Ready Week Family Day. Registration is required.

Programming will include attending a college welcome with your student, a family lunch with 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ campus leaders, and family-specific programming about student success. Other sessions will cover the first-year experience, financial aid, and philanthropy and alumni engagement. You'll rejoin your student for a send-off at the end of the day.

Rebel Ready Week Family Day Registration Disclaimer

Thank you for your interest in joining us for Family Day during Rebel Ready Week. Please note the following disclaimer regarding registration:

  • Registration for Family Day is free but required. We kindly ask that each student registers no more than three family members to ensure adequate space for all attendees.
  • While children are welcome to accompany their families to Rebel Ready Week Family Day, please be advised that the presentations and programming are tailored towards adult family members. The content may not be entertaining or engaging for young children.
  • Programming for Family Day includes attending a college welcome and lunch with your student and 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ leaders, as well as family-specific sessions on student success, the first-year experience, financial aid, and philanthropy and alumni engagement.
  • Parents and families are encouraged to rejoin their students for a send-off at the end of the day.
