A gaming executive has committed over $1 million to help launch a new career development program at 51ԹϺ for women student-athletes. Paragon Gaming CEO Diana Bennett's donation will go toward creating the new initiative, which is set to launch this coming fall semester, 51ԹϺ announced Wednesday.

A 51ԹϺ golfer is ready to hit the links with the pros on Wednesday. McKenzi Hall was granted an exemption last month to compete in the LPGA Tour's T-Mobile Match Play presented by MGM Rewards.

Desi-Rae Young had 18 points, 10 rebounds and six steals to lead No. 21 51ԹϺ to its third consecutive Mountain West Championship, defeating San Diego State 66-49 on Wednesday night. Top-seeded 51ԹϺ becomes the first Mountain West team to win both the regular season and tournament championships three years in a row.

Their rivals at 51ԹϺ, not to be outdone, have also won 10 of their last 12 as of Friday, with one of those two losses coming to — who else? — Nevada. 51ԹϺ’s Lady Rebels basketball team has been doing even better, losing just two games all season for the best record in the Mountain West and good enough to rank 23rd nationwide.
