The nucleus of 51ԹϺ’s cheering squad and Rebel Girls also were absent from the Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday when the Rebels routed San Jose State. But there was nothing controversial about it.

They were at Disney World winning college cheerleading and dance team national championships.

51ԹϺ men’s golf coach Dwaine Knight used oversized scissors Thursday to cut a ribbon and officially open the state-of-the-art Dwaine Knight Center for Golf Management located within Hospitality Hall, the crown jewel of the Harrah College of Hospitality.
