Lisa Bakke has been appointed interim associate vice president for Financial Planning, Budget, and Analysis.
In this role, Bakke will develop and coordinate budgets for reporting to NSHE, the Board of Regents, the state legislature, and the governor’s offices. She will oversee the Financial Planning, Budget, and Analysis team and provide support for budget managers throughout the institution.
Bakke came to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ in 2023 as executive director of Financial Services Support in the Controller’s Office. Her responsibilities included leading the unit’s annual budget preparation process and preparing budget presentations, unit statistics, and financials as part of the Financial Services annual report.
Prior to coming to 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Bakke held various roles within the Budget Office at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) for 23 years including serving as the associate vice president of Budget Services for six years. In this role, she was responsible for the implementing and managing state and non-state revenue and expenditure budgets, standard and ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, developing budgetary goals, ensuring budget compliance, and more.
