Design Guidelines
When designing a slide or video, follow these simple guidelines to improve accessibility for different audiences:
- Minimize the amount of text.
- Use a larger font size, but keep a healthy balance of space to avoid overcrowding.
- Select familiar sans serif fonts such as Arial, Calibri, or Roboto.
- Avoid using all capital letters and excessive italics or underlines.
- Use sufficient contrast for text and background colors. White and black schemes make it easier for people who are colorblind to distinguish text and shapes.
- Avoid using tables.
