The 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ logo is the primary element of the university’s visual identity system and should have prominence in the design when developing informational and promotional materials regarding the university. The university's full name (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) can be used as a supporting element – most often on first reference in body copy or graphic elements. Then the full name should be used in tandem with but not as a part of, the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ logo.

Alterations — 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ owns and controls the words, phrases, insignias, and designs that have come to represent the university to the public. Modification of these marks by any entity requires prior university approval.

Use of 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's logos and marks are subject to an approval process in some cases.
