Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment for the Public Employees Benefits Program (PEBP) and Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) benefits takes place each year from May 1-31.

During open enrollment, benefits-eligible employees can make changes to their benefits offered through the Public Employees Benefits Program (PEBP) and NSHE. Changes made by May 31, 2025 will be effective for Plan Year 2026 (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026).

Action Items for Benefits-Eligible Employees

During the open enrollment period, all benefits-eligible employees should:

  2. In the top right corner, select your name and then “View Profile.”
  3. From the top left corner of your Profile page, select “Actions” (under your name) and hover over Personal Data.
  4. Select “View My Emergency Contacts.”
  5. If changes are needed, select “Edit.”

  4. Under the Additional Phone section, add or edit your cellular telephone number. Make sure to select mobile or the phone device.
  5. Select the “Submit” button, located in the lower left corner, to save your changes.

Open Enrollment Webinars and Drop-In Sessions

PEBP will be hosting open enrollment webinars for participants enrolled in the PEBP PPO Plans or HMO plan. Registration is required - please see the for more information.

51ԹϺ HR/Benefits will also host open enrollment webinars and in-person/virtual drop-in sessions. Registration is not required.

Voluntary Benefits

PEBP and NSHE offer similar voluntary benefits through different vendors. Carefully read information about each to determine the best option for you.

Please note: All PEBP coverages with The Standard will end on June 30, 2025 and will automatically transition to the new MetLife plans offered by PEBP effective July 1, 2025. Employees do not have to take any action unless they want to make changes or add coverage to their MetLife plans during open enrollment.
