Search Advocate Pilot Program

The Search Advocate Pilot Program is a two-year pilot program to support the search and hire process for academic and administrative units. The advocate program has three priorities:

  • Increase the diversity of candidate pools
  • Ensure equitable practices and treatment of all parties participating in the search process
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources team and the Title IX/Office of Equal Employment Opportunity to ensure that university search and hire policies and procedures are in compliance.

Office of Diversity Initiatives

The Office of Diversity Initiatives focuses on helping the campus community achieve our diversity mission, providing respect for differences and creating an environment that empowers everyone to succeed.

Anti-Black Racism Task Force

The Anti-Black Racism Task Force, with the support of the university administration, faculty, and students, is committed to strategic and intentional action to address inequities on campus through programming and service in collaboration with university stakeholders and community partners.

Office of Accessibility Resources

The Office of Accessibility Resources provides oversight and resource support to help ensure the accessibility of Information and Communication Technologies at 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and promotes equal access for persons with disabilities.

The university offers several groups that represent the shared interests, backgrounds, and goals of our diverse faculty and staff. The groups offer networking opportunities, seminars, workshops, off-campus activities, resources, and professional development.
