Our dynamic undergraduate program offers eight specialized concentrations, allowing students to tailor their education to their passions and career aspirations. The Journalism and Media Studies graduate program is designed for individuals looking to elevate their media expertise, enhance their critical thinking and research abilities, and deepen their understanding of the ever-evolving media landscape. With flexible pathways, including a research-intensive thesis track, creative thesis options, and professionally oriented projects, students can tailor their experience to align with their career goals or professional aspirations. 

Get Involved

The Hank Greenspun School of Journalism and Media Studies offers paid and volunteer opportunities in radio and podcasting with , television and video production with 51ԹϺ-TV, and digital and social media with Rebel Media Group. The School is also home to a number of registered student organizations including our sports media club, , the student-run radio station, , and our active chapter of the . Additionally, many of our students contribute to the , 51ԹϺ's student newspaper.
