51ԹϺ alumna Meg Moorman will be inducted into the National League for Nursing's Academy of Nurse Educators (ANEF). Meg graduated with her Ph.D. in Nursing from 51ԹϺ in 2013. She is currently the director of the Faculty Innovating for Nursing Education Center and coordinator of the MSN in Nursing Education at Indiana University School of Nursing.

Jennifer Vanderlaan (Nursing) was published as a co-author for a new study in the BMJ. The study is “Systematic Review and Meta-analysis to Examine Intrapartum Interventions, and Maternal and Neonatal Outcomes Following Immersion in Water during Labour and Waterbirth.”
Susan VanBeuge, Andrew Thomas Reyes, Dieu-My Tran, and Hyunhwa "Henna" Lee (all Nursing) have been promoted as of July 1. VanBeuge has been promoted to professor in residence. Reyes, Tran, and  Lee all have been promoted to associate professor with tenure.
Jacqueline Killian (Nursing) recently retired officially from the U.S. Air Force after 31 years of service, including extensive work as one of the only nurse scientists in the Air Force. She now transitions to full-time teaching status at 51ԹϺ Nursing. 
Reimund Serafica (Nursing) has been appointed the RN representative of the Public Health Advisory Board by the Southern Nevada Health District Board of Health. The PHAB advises the Board of Health on matters related to local public health planning and policy.
