Department Overview
The Work Order Control Unit (WOCU) is the administrative side for several Business Affairs Administration departments and manages the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Wireless program. This team:
- Centrally supports recharge billing for Telecommunications, Parking, and Delivery Services
- Acts as the shared finance, supplies/inventory, and space liaison for Administration Leadership, Telecommunications, and Shared Services
- Manages the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Switchboard, triaging incoming Help Desk calls and submitting requests where appropriate
- Acts as Tier-1 Support for Central Billing, Telecommunications, 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Wireless, and Workday support

- Central (recharge) Billing for: Telecommunications, Parking, Delivery Services, and Risk Management & Safety
- 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Switchboard, facilitating work orders and tier-1 support for Workday help requests
Customers and Stakeholders
The Work Order Control Unit, as University Operators, support all calls made to the Help Desk.
Additionally, the Work Order Control Unit is an internal service provider for business units within 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Business Affairs Administration:
- Liaison services for finance, supplies/inventory, and space management
- Support services for Workday, Central Billing, and Telecommunications Call Accounting
- Management of the 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Wireless phones program
