Group Fitness Classes

Campus Recreational Services offers a variety of free group classes for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students, faculty/staff, and community members with a membership. The formats range from dance, mind/ body, martial arts, and strength categories.

In-Person Group Fitness Classes

In-person group fitness classes are free for 51³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ students who are enrolled in four credit hours and are SRWC members. No registration needed–drop-ins only.

Virtual Fitness Classes

If you can’t make it to the SRWC, virtual on-demand classes are free and open to everyone – no membership needed. Access new classes weekly from anywhere.

Group Fitness Policies

  • There is no late entry to any Group Fitness class five minutes after class start time due to safety reasons.
  • It is recommended that participants arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure proper setup of equipment and avoid disruption of class

  • Closed-toe shoes required except in barre, Pilates, and yoga classes (or when otherwise noted by the instructor)

  • Participants are encouraged to regularly monitor their own workout intensity and take water breaks frequently
  • In order to ensure safety of participants, class size may be limited at the discretion of the instructor
  • Wipe down equipment after use and return to designated area

  • All usage of the studios is first come first serve unless notified otherwise

  • All drinks/beverages should be in a resealable container
  • Please make sure cell phone volume is on silent
  • No photography or videography of participants without their permission

Host a Custom Group Fitness Class

Looking to host a fitness event for your class, student org, or other event? Complete our form to request for a Group Fitness Instructor to lead. Please note the following:

  • Requests should be made at least two (2) weeks in advance to assure proper planning and availability
  • Requests that are not at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center are subject to an additional charge for instructor travel time and/or setup
  • The individual requesting the Instructor is responsible for reserving and confirming the location
